This is most likely
because the mind is assimilating its past two months of learning, rather than
trying to work out new problems.
In
part one we
discussed the folklore and myths associated with the planet Mercury,
discovering that he earned a reputation as a trickster from his versatile,
wily and double-edged deceptive brilliance, which is also how he guides us to
experience the mystery of life. When the
recognition that we have been led into the mystery results in pure laugher,
then we have been awakened by Mercury, the Trickster.

MERCURY RX IN Earth in 2010
We must all stretch ourselves to grow by
making adjustments during the Rx phase of Mercury
Open your mind and see what happens.
Mercury is going to station twice during this retrograde phase. Mercury enters this scenario three times.
Stoopid School
The tests are complex. The first stage is when Mercury
goes forward over the territory it will go back over later. If
you become still you will see the lessons, and how they work out over a
three month period. Watch
carefully as the ground is shifting.
Then you have to weather all the shifting scenarios, and
embrace the clearing and understanding of what you
are up to is revealed as you get your grades in Stoopid School.... by the time
Mercury is direct, and more than that, by the time Mercury enters new
territory.

Mercury's
planetary polarity partner is Jupiter.
To balance we must always watch the polarity planet. During this period we review our responses to the
relationship challenges that
life presents.
Jupiter enters Pisces in 2010. Responsibility, dignity, family, kindness,
leadership, strength are all philosophical ideas and practical qualities to
expand. Take charge of your emotional life, changing co - dependence
for inter-dependence.
Pisces's evolutionary intention is to
evolve and help plant the seeds of awakening
for the next cycle. Pisces does not always need to be seen to be
effective. Build it and they will come is a good way to keep an eye on
what the next year is all about. Have faith, know the provident
Universe is conspiring to shower you with blessings and you will see the
magic in your uni-verse. You are the one in the diversity. You
are the diversity in the one. Celebrate your divinity with Jupiter in
Pisces. It is best in Pisces, so let your magic turtles go.
Saturn in Libra in 2010 adds the element
of relationship. If
you attempt to escape your need to respond honestly and forthrightly in all
your relationships and friendships during this time the same issues
can re-surface later with increased complications.
When Mercury moves forward again the issues may be forgotten, but only for a
while. Any unfinished business will resurface for you to work on three months
later.

Mercury reviews the
territory of 12 Taurus - 2 Taurus.
 Mercury
The solar system's smallest planet flits back and forth from morning sky to
evening sky several times a year. It never strays far from the Sun in our
sky, so it's tough to find in the glare. From the northern hemisphere, it is
visible in the morning sky this year in early
November. The late-year appearance is the best, because the planet will
stand highest above the horizon. In the evening, Mercury is best seen in
late August through September, and mid-December.

For Mercury the 88 days during it takes to orbits the sun once,
the earth has only gone through about one quarter of a year. Mercury
goes through 3 entire evening/morning star cycles each year.
Remember from math (the ratio of the circumference of a circle to its
diameter...an approximation of is 22/7?
Mercury cycles per year = but 22/7 is even more exac because in 7 years
Mercury goes through 22 cycles.
To see how
the evening and morning star cycles work, consider the following illustration
of the orbit of Venus.

Having amassed, and perhaps over- burdened itself with new information, your
thinking processes now begin to change from a spontaneous,
information-gathering, 'outgoing' manner to a more intentional, systematized
and reflective mode. This time marks a more subtle responsiveness to the
world around you. Signals from the environment tell you to slow down. What
has been understood through pure instinct must now become deeper
understanding; wisdom.

MERCURY RX IN Earth
Every six or seven years Mercury completes a
retrograde cycle through all of the elements; fire, earth, air and water. This
passage of Mercury Retrograde is currently in the element of Earth.
Practicality is on our minds.

A
planet's "elongation" refers to how far it is
separated from the Sun in the sky, as viewed from Earth.
At "greatest
elongation," the planet has reached its maximum separation from the Sun. This is
the best time to view Mercury because it's the farthest away from the Sun's
glare.
When a planet's elongation is zero, it is aligned with the Sun and Earth,
and is in a "conjunction."
Because their orbits lie inside Earth's, Mercury and
Venus can have both "inferior conjunctions," when they are between the Sun and
Earth, and "superior
conjunctions," when they lie on the other side of the Sun from Earth.
Mercury often must
trick and amaze the ego into the consideration of new possibilities, achieving
this best while retrograde by seemingly undoing all that we have so carefully
sewn together.
Since Mercury is only
retrograde 20% of the yearly cycle we benefit from learning this natural cycle
by blocking time out for in-creased self-reflection, taking advantage of it to assist us in our
contemplative, intuitive growth.
As a messenger,
retrograde Mercury delivers up… to the conscious mind, un-evolved and unknown information, which is usually dormant in the
unconscious.
The messages from
the unconscious which can signal a need for a deeper clarity can be the
irritation of cancelled appointments, broken promises, telecommunication
devices that mal-function and mis-information all of
all kinds resulting in big distortions in your capacity to communicate directly.
These archetypal
messages are a clue to re-examine your life, especially your communicative
skills.
