What a brilliant comeuppance. Fox News lied, then lied about their lying. The evidence against them was embarrassing. Their defense was laughable. The settlement was the biggest ever of its kind ($787.5 M!). The Sun conjunct Jupiter, aspecting the Lords of Conspiracy Theories, Uranus / Neptune, certainly squelched those Lords of Bombast and their lying dependants.
“But, what about an apology?” Another laugh (thanks, jovial Jupiter). Dominion now has a fat bankroll to pursue their next 6 cases (against crazy Rudy, etc.). And, all their evidence gets added to that, and more, for Smartmatic’s suit of $2.7B. All this, besides the already damaging publicity, threatens to take down the whole company. The collapse of Bluff and Empty Bravado. Take that, DJT, and your growing ‘complications’.
So much went wrong, wrong, wrong, in the daze before Mercury went retrograde. It started with kids getting shot for being in the wrong place at the wrong time. Twitter was jerking around its clients with ‘propaganda’ insinuations (that Poilievre asked for in Canada). The MAGAs now push to defund libraries (can’t have kids larnin real facts). Beijing had a major hospital fire that didn’t get reported.
Then, just before Mercury, the Thinker, stood still, the Sudan ceasefire was on, then off, then on again. Canadian Federal workers went on strike. The US Debt Limit proposal showed that the GOP couldn’t do the math. The Pilow Guy must pay $5M because he lost his bet on Fake Election facts. $20M in gold went “missing” from Pearson Airport. “The Carbon Tax is too expensive!” … until you consider the alternative. There is NO alternative (Bangkok hit 54ºC).
Uganda wants death for “aggravated homosexuality”. Mississippi Whites take control of its capital (80% black). The US SC banned the ban on birth control pills (at least for now). On the day Mercury stood still, Russia bombed its own city by accident (leaving a 20 m. crater), and SoCal sewage leaked, closing 7 miles of beach. The SpaceX launch was a “success”, blowing up after a disconnect didn’t disconnect.
That’s Mercury’s job when it goes retrograde, to help us disconnect from the previous state of affairs, and reappraise where we’ve come from and where we’re going next. Apparently, many, too many, have no clue, much less a connection.
This week: Monday will seem ‘old’ and slow through the evening as the Moon soft aspects the Sun sextile Saturn early Tuesday. Yeah, an ‘old guy’ is making an announcement. Wednesday stays mostly snoozed, except for the Personal snippets. Then, ‘something’ gets us excited Thursday as the apogee Moon pulls us up and out. More Personal peccadillos? But, things will, and do, change. Expect someone to resent a shifting Social landscape by late Saturday.
Nota Bene: Most striking for the week was the complete lack of new “news” after the Mercury stationary. Usually, there are snippets of goofs and foibles after, too, for a while. The power of this Solar Cycle still impresses in many ways.
All Planetary Aspect energies build up several hours before (for the swift) to a few days before (for the slow), as they approach. The Moon triggers within 2 hours.

Tuesday, 25 April. (Moon in a coasting mode until one little spark late, in Cancer. The Sun in Taurus sextile Saturn, aspecting retrograde Mercury / Jupiter. 4-5 degrees and 19-20 degrees of All Signs)
A simple statement can say it all, and more. There is no need to explain. Of course, the commentaries will dig deep, but why do someone’s homework for them? How else will they learn? This is not that motivating but a solid statement of continuation. The less said, the better, without the mistakes, unless pointing out and/or teaching.
Thursday, 27 April. (apogee Moon triggering the Sun in Taurus, aspecting Jupiter / Uranus. 6-7 Fixed, 21-22 Mutable)
The Moon is more distant, drawing us out. Reach out, mix and mingle, meet and greet. Get the ‘gang’ going. But, hold this in, and ‘someone’ gets very cranky and worked up. Over what? See next.
Friday, 28 April. (Moon friendly and free, or disturbed in Leo. The Sun in Taurus aspects Venus / Neptune. 8 Fixed, 23 Mutable)
This can get way too Personal to be personable and pleasant. In fact, someone wants what they don’t have, and/or has what they don’t want. It’s a deep dilemma until you can take a big step back and appreciate a more open perspective. Simply, something has to adjust (see next).
Saturday, 29 April. (Moon stuck in a rut in Virgo. Mars in Cancer sextile Uranus in Taurus. 18 degrees and 3 degrees of All Signs)
Now, for something new and different, please. Before this settles in and festers sorely, consider a shift, a change. If neglected, get out, get new. If it’s all about you, well, you’ll still have some friends, right? Pulling away from ‘it all’ only isolates, and punishes, more.
